You will be responsible for
Design the features and implement user stories
Developing new applications and make changes of existing ones
Analyze the business/functional requirements and translate them into a technical design
Developing together with the parties involved
Providing and updating technical documentation
Advising, appraising and performing code review
Pooling and sharing knowledge on new applications, technologies, best practices
You should possess
At least 3+ years of experience in Java Backend development
Experience with JSE/JEE
Experience with Spring Framework
Experience with SOA, REST and web services, XML, JSON
Knowledge of MVC, MVVM patterns
Experience with application servers such a WebSphere, WebLogic
Good knowledge of JPA
Experience with Oracle/MS SQL Server
Experience in development using Git, Maven, Jenkins
Working knowledge of JIRA and/or similar issue tracking tools
Experience in software solution delivery
Agile/Scrum or Kanban development cycle understanding
The ability to take initiatives and to lead the realization of a feature
Strong experience in Java Backend Development experience in functional analysis
You have a University degree in IT/engineering/science/economics or equivalent through experience
An excellent written and spoken knowledge of English; knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset
