Administrator and Analyst for Life Insurance Data Warehouse

Description
The objective of the job is:
– to translate the data and reporting requirements of Business into IT language, based on the current architecture and other available inputs
– Set up and maintain of the data model documentation (data and data-flow)
– Understand the data process-flow and set-up of the e-2-e DWH functional architecture from collect data until the reporting services in close collaboration with our partners & business experts
– To help, organise & participate in the functional testing of the delivered solution

Languages: English, Dutch, French
Location: Brussels Centre.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: LONG TERM: 12 months, with yearly extension

Business experience required
– Min. 3 years of professional experience in analysis of Business requirements and set up of detailed IT requirements for Insurance of Financial services
– Very good knowledge of business architecture principles

 Data modelling :
– Kimball dimensional modelling
– Relational data models (logical & technical)
 Microsoft Power BI & Power Pivot
 SAS Base – Macro – OLAP Cube Studio – DI studio – Enterprise Guide – Stored Processes – Data Management Studio – Dataflux – Visual analytics
 SQL
– DB2 mainframe
– SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS/SSAS/Tabular
 Data administration and documentation tools
– Very good knowledge of
 DB2
 Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access)
 Cobol
– Good knowledge
 Administrative Cobol processes (batch & on-line) in
a Mainframe environment
Optional:
– Very good technical knowledge of Cobol, Mainframe (ZOS, JES), DB2
