We are looking for 3x Linux System Administrators
(Hybrid D2D + R‑Duty Support)
You will work closely with the SOV (Storage, Operating Systems & Virtualisation) and OIT teams to ensure the stability, security, and continuous operation of critical infrastructure.
This role blends hands‑on Linux engineering, helpdesk/ops responsibilities, and participation in a 24/7 on‑call duty.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
D1 – Day‑to‑Day Linux Administration Support
- Provide first‑ and second‑level support for Linux-based systems (production + development).
- Troubleshoot issues related to servers, OS, networking, virtualisation, and container platforms.
- Handle user requests, access management, permissions, and system configuration changes.
- Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and ensure high system availability.
- Perform routine maintenance: patching, log management, updates.
- Document procedures, fixes, and update internal knowledge base.
- Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers when required.
- Provide helpdesk support to the OIT team up to 2 days per week.
- Participate in continuous improvement, training sessions, and documentation upkeep.
D2 – Reserve Duty (R‑Duty) 24/7 Support
The assignment includes additional, compensated on-call services:
- Participate in the R‑Duty roster, providing standby support for selected critical systems.
- Deliver fast incident response (max. 1‑hour reaction time) following predefined procedures.
- Cover one of the following rotation types depending on roster:
- Full R‑Duty Week: Mon 16:00 → next Mon 09:00
- Weekly R‑Duty Nights: Mon–Thu 16:00 → 09:00
- Weekend R‑Duty: Fri 16:00 → Mon 09:00
- Cooperate closely with the SOV/OIT teams for rapid issue resolution.
Required Profile and Experience
Mandatory Technical Requirements (per candidate)
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT or relevant engineering field
OR 6+ years of professional Linux administration experience. - Certifications: LPI (or equivalent), CKA.
Experience – Minimum 3 years each in these 4 domains
- Linux Administration
- Virtualisation (VMware, AHV)
- Containerisation (Podman, Kubernetes)
- Certificate Management
Experience – Minimum 3 years each in these 7 domains
- ClearCase
- Ansible
- SELinux
- Red Hat IDM
- LDAP
- Active Directory
- Red Hat or SUSE ecosystems
Additional Required Experience
- 3+ years with a Linux patch manager (e.g., SUMA)
- 2+ years with Terraform automation for Red Hat deployment
- 1+ year with CommVault or Rubrik backup
- 1+ year with repository management (e.g., Nexus)
- 1+ year working with GitOps principles (e.g., FluxCD)
Language Requirement
- English proficiency: Listening C1 / Reading B2 / Writing B2 / Speaking C1

- Comfortable working in high‑availability, mission‑critical environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Structured documentation habits.
