Data Scientist L(6-10)

For our client a Financial Institution we are looking for a Data Scientist

 

1. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

.Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with stakeholders from other departments (Product Development, Sales, Operations…) to understand their needs and translate them into specific analytical requirements. 
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions for data analysis, modeling, and reporting, using both internal and external data sources. 
  • Identify and communicate insights from data analysis to support decision-making and problem- solving activities. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues. 
  • Continuously monitor data quality and accuracy, and proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies. 

In addition to the key responsibilities listed above, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including: 

  • AI & Advanced Data Analytics projects 
  • Direct Marketing 
  • UW Optimization 
  • Market Insights 

 

2. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Personal Skills (soft skills – intangible qualities or traits that enhance our interactions) 

 

Mandatory 
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines 

 

Business experience required (work experience) 

 

Mandatory 
  • Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization 
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and communicate business needs and requirements 

Preferable 
  • Experience with Non-Life insurance or Marketing data is a plus. 

 

Technical experience required (hard skills related to physical or digital tools) 

 

Mandatory 
  • Experience with AI & GenAI 
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools, such as Python, SQL, PBI, DataBricks,… 

Preferable 
  • SAS 

 

Functional experience required (job experience in particular industry and in particular function) 

 

Mandatory 
  • At least 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a business setting.
