The Digital Identity and Trust Framework Specialist will contribute to a cutting-edge, data-centric program designed to enhance security, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency within EU Customs. This role is crucial for leveraging advanced technologies to address data challenges and improve cross-border oversight. The specialist will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust digital identity solutions and trust frameworks.
2. Key responsibilities
- Support and contribute to an innovative, data-centric program focused on security, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in EU Customs.
- Utilize high-availability cloud services, advanced data analytics, and AI-driven risk assessment to improve data management and cross-border supervision.
- Design, develop, and manage trust chains integral to digital identity strategies.
- Establish and maintain a secure, well-governed, and interoperable trust framework for decentralized identity solutions.
- Champion the adoption of Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI), verifiable credentials, and ensure compliance with eIDAS and EBSI.
- Define, supervise, and validate the implementation of digital identity solutions to ensure trust, interoperability, and regulatory alignment.
- Apply deep knowledge of decentralized identifiers, cryptographic mechanisms, and verifiable credentials.
- Demonstrate proficiency in identity governance, legal compliance, and the deployment of identity wallets and authentication protocols.
