For out client EC we are looking for Business Analyst
1. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:
• Analysis of Business requirements.
• Documentation of Business requirements.
• Business model analysis.
• Business process analysis.
• Business processes modelling
• Functional requirements and business cases analysis.
• Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans
• Elaboration and maintenance of IS quality control procedures.
• Definition, elaboration, management and reporting of quality tests.
• Advice on quality improvements.
• Assistance in the implementation of project management methodology.
• Advice in defining and implementation of test processes and test automation. This includes but is
not limited to writing and reviewing test cases for the components of the eTrustEx platform.
• Drafting of user documentation for the eTrustEx platform.
• Interaction with various stakeholders, such as business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
2. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:
• Ability to work autonomously, managing his/her own workload independently, providing status
updates, liaising with others and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Experience in testing (web services and web UI) and test automation is required. This includes the
ability to write and execute test cases and experience with tools such as SoapUI, Zephyr and Selenium
• Proven experience with the testing lifecycle, including integration and regression testing.
• Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle) and service testing using SOAPUI (WSDL, XSD
understanding).
• Very good understanding of Selenium.
• Experience in the use of Atlassian collaborative tools (such as Confluence and Jira) is required.
• Experience with Agile testing methodologies is required.
• Excellent critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of
alternative solutions.
• Ability to give business and technical presentations.
• Being able to understand well requirements analysis in a web applications environment.
• Ability to apply high quality standards.
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application development, quality assurance
and quality control.
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Very good understanding of the agile development workflow.
• Analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills.
3. Specific Expertise
• at least 1 year of specific expertise with Test Management and Defect Tracking tools (min.
competence level 2)

5. Service Delivery
• The services shall be performed remotely in Near-site location allowing to reach the Commission
premises in Brussels within 2 hours.
• Laptop will be provided by the Commission.
• The external service provider may be requested to participate in the meetings with the Commission’s
services in Brussels (and exceptionally in other locations).
