EC Business Intelligence Expert (L4-6)

For out client EC we are looking for Business Intelligence Expert

1. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:

Design and develop POWER Bl interactive dashboards and reports, as well as their evolution
and maintenance
Gather requirements from EMPL policy / business / statistical units for business intelligence.
Develop and maintain Python and SQL scripts.
Write documentation related to the definition of the KPIs/metrics
Design and implement ETL processes.
Data modelling.
Design of data quality monitoring processes.

2. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Following skills and knowledge are mandatory for the performance of the above listed tasks:

Very good knowledge of POWER BI
Good knowledge of other BI reporting tool, such as APACHE SUPERSET
Very good knowledge of Data processing analysis
Good knowledge of the data analytics platform KNIME
Knowledge of any other data analytics platform is a plus, such as DataBricks
Very good knowledge of ETL design processes (e.g.: star schema)
Good knowledge of both RDMS and non-relational database MONGO DB
Very good knowledge of data modelling techniques
Good knowledge of scripting in Python
Knowledge of Machine Learning technologies would be a plus.

3. Specific Expertise

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

Professional experience of at least 2 years in designing, implementing, maintaining and
optimising reports, using POWER BL
Professional experience of at least 2 years in designing and implementing data analytics
processes using KNIME or similar tools.

4. Certification and Standards

N/A

5. Service Delivery

The services shall be performed remotely in Near-site location allowing to reach the Commission
premises in Brussels within 2 hours.
Laptop will be provided by the Commission.
The external service provider will be requested to come 1 day per week in Brussels — EMPL office.
