Operational Analysis Experts 2x – Junior and Senior
Freelance Opportunity – Long term contract
Country/countries for providing services Belgium (Brussels)
Expanded scope description –
Provision of two experts (one junior, one senior) to support agency Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) in operational analysis.
Tasks include:
NM delay reattribution, stakeholder relations, briefings and crisis reporting, capacity performance monitoring, dispute mitigation,
meeting and material support, data analysis, training and system maintenance documentation.
One expert must bring advanced data science/statistics skills.
Technical selection criteria:
Profile A (Junior): Degree in ATM/IT/Data Science/etc.; ≥1 yr ATM/ops experience; English B1–C1; technical writing; SQL/Python/Power BI; MS Office; teamwork.
Technical/professional qualification
Mandatory:
•A good command of SQL, Python and Power BI with a general understanding of aviation data
Desirable:
•Experience in standard Microsoft Office applications in particular Excel and Powerpoint
Experience/skills required
Mandatory:
•At least 1 year experience in ATM operational support environment, airline operations support or ATCO experience including traineeship Ability to draft technical documents in the field of aviation, minute writing.

Profile B (Senior): Degree in ATM/IT/Data Science/etc.; ≥10 yrs ATM/ops exp.; English B2–C1; technical writing; SQL/Python/Power BI (≥5 yrs exp.); MS Office; stakeholder communication
Technical/professional qualification
Mandatory:
•A good understanding of air traffic management or airline operations and a good command of SQL, Python and Power BI with a general understanding of aviation data
Desirable:
•Experience in standard Microsoft Office applications in particular Excel and Powerpoint
•Good communication skills, both listening and speaking to different kinds of audience; Ability to present complex operational and technical issues in clear and comprehensive fashion.
