For out client EC we are looking for Quality Assurance Manager
1. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:
• IS Quality control and evaluation
• Definition, elaboration, management and reporting of quality tests
• Elaboration and maintenance of IS quality control procedures
• Provision of quality plans and service level agreements
• Advice on quality improvements
• Coordination of test campaigns
2. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:
• Ability to respond efficiently and fast;
• Ability to give business and technical presentations;
• Ability to apply high quality standards;
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences;
• Analysis and problem-solving skills;
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents;
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills;
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and SAFE methodology and experience with SCRUM in particular;
• Knowledge of and experience with test automation tools such as Selenium;
• Experience in different testing types: Smoke / Sanity Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, User
Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing and End to End testing;
• Experienced into defining Test Scope, designing Test Strategy, Effort estimation, training new joiners
and hosting defect meetings by doing root cause analysis;
• Ability to manage multiple projects at same time by regular follow-ups with an organized and
streamlined approach. Collaborate with customers on a regular basis to update the status on the tested
application and future insights.
3. Specific Expertise
Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:
• Very good knowledge of Multiannual planning and programming financial business processed.
• Very good knowledge of JIRA tool for bug tracking, issue tracking and agile project management.
• Knowledge of procurement and/or grants business processes.

5. Service Delivery
The services shall be performed remotely in Near-site location allowing to reach the Commission
premises in Brussels (Rue du Luxembourg 40) within 2 hours.
Laptop will be provided by the Commission.
The external service provider may be requested to participate in the meetings with the Commission’s
services in Brussels (Rue du Luxembourg 40) (and exceptionally in other locations).
