For out client EC we are looking for Enterprise Architect
1. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
• [Essential] Create business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals
• [Essential] Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities
• [Essential] Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and business leadership
• [Essential] Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities
• Conduct research to find ways to improve operations
• [Essential] Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance
• Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan
• [Essential] Align actions with corporate guidelines, practices and tools
• [Essential] Adequate skills to draft and provide reports to higher management
• [Essential] Capacity to manage disparate needs from stakeholders (key users, legal units, business units from several DGs, Agencies and other EU bodies) and formulate in adequate architectural models.
2. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:
• Experience defining and implementing strategies under a CIO or equivalent
• Ability to combine many different skills and experiences to address and solve business, information, and technology related opportunities and problems
• Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals
• Excellent leadership, conciliation and negotiation skills
• Communications skills, both verbal (e.g.: presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.: reports, articles, etc.)
• Effective leadership to ensure motivation of team members and their development
• Group session facilitation Ability to apply high quality standards
• Promotion skills (“selling” the results of architectural approaches through presentations
• Analysis and design
• Modelling and graphical representations and abstractions
Due to the particular nature of a large international organization such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technica1skiIIs:
• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
• Excellent Team Player
• Ability to understand, speak and write English B2, knowledge of French will be an advantage;
• High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in SANTE.R.4 contain personal and confidential data
3. Specific Expertise
At least 4 years of specific expertise in |
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman…, and actual experience developing and building models based on such frameworks |
At least 4 years of specific expertise in |
Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN |
At least 6 years of specific expertise in |
Knowledge of enterprise architecture tools such as ARIS, and other tools using UML and relevant notation |
At least 10 years of specific expertise in |
Knowledge of confluence and Jira |
At least 4 years of specific expertise in |
Knowledge of Commission’s Enterprise Architecture Framework (CEAF) |
At least 6 years of specific expertise in |
Experience in management and coordination of working groups with business users and IT teams |
