1. Nature of the main tasks
As a senior Enterprise Architect, you have over 5 years of experience in leading the application architecture strategy :
– You determine the application architecture strategy;
– In collaboration with the business, you identify how technological developments can create business opportunities or pose threats;
– You formulate a balanced overall solution that covers various aspects: technology, business, methodology, planning and cost/benefit considerations;
– You create a current and target state and roadmap to achieve the target state.
Next to a proven experience in IT Architecture, you have the following core competences : Analytical thinking, Collaborating, Critical thinking, Conceptual thinking, Decision making, Innovative, Process driven, Result driven, Tactical & strategic planning
2. Knowledge and competences
What do we expect from you ?
• You are the architectural leader for Temenos applications who designs viable technical solutions that support the business requirements
• You translate business requirement into IT solutions across the Temenos product suite
• You are the single point of contact for business and IT stakeholders in the IM Banks
• You maintain familiarity with the Temenos functional and technical roadmaps and how they can be utilized by IM Banks.
Your key strengths ?
• You have minimum of 10 years experience in the delivery of Temenos core banking application solutions
• You have a strong technical understanding of the Temenos system architecture allied to an in depth understanding of the business functionalities within the Temenos product suite .
• You have in depth knowledge of Temenos payment solution (TPH) and Temenos Arrangement Architecture (AA) for current accounts, loans and deposits
• You can show a successful track record in designing and delivering Temenos core banking solutions
• You have practical experience with integration architecture and understand its challenges
• You have strong consulting skills and industry knowledge spanning multiple domains
• You have a good verbal and written communication skills and comfortable presenting across various levels within the implementing organisations
• You are goal-oriented and self-motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
From a technical perspective, familiarity with the following the following would be advantageous:
• TProgramming in Infobasic, Java, Javascript.
• Application Servers (jBOSS, Web Sphere, Web Logic)
• OS (Windows, RedHat Linux, IBM AIX)
• Understanding of RDBMS; knowledge of MSSQL and Oracle RDMS.
You understand at a good level industry concepts such as:
• Java VMs and artefacts (WAR and EAR files), performance tuning
• Concepts for Integration (i.e. Integration of data or user accounts between multiple systems)
• Componentisation of applications
• JMS and messaging providers , Kafka, and integration suites like Mulesoft, Apache Camel and ACE (App Connect Enterprise)
• Concepts for Internet Security, Intranet security, cryptography, data tampering, firewalls
• Single Sign On concepts / supported solutions, LDAP / Active Directory
• Approach to Process Workflow and Human Workflow – jBPM exposure would be an advantage
• Web Services
• Penetration, stress and performance testing
