Financial & Business Control Officer L(1-5)

For our client a Financial Institution we are looking for a Financial & Business Control Officer

 

1. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

To temporary strengthen the team, we are looking for an external Financial & Business Control Officer. 

  • You will gather, validate and challenge the results of all products (both life and death and health care): technical result, financial result, operating result. This exercise is carried out, among other things, during the monthly closings of all EB/HC products. You present the quantitative and qualitative reporting to the management (or the CFO department). 
  • You will be responsible for forecasting results: you will project the expected results of each product for the next tree years. 
  • You manage a continuous optimization project: you can rely on efficient models, which must continue to be maintained and developed. 
  • You provide reports and explanations: as the person responsible for the results of your products, you answer questions from the various departments. In addition, you prepare, check and send various reports to the following stakeholders: National Bank of Belgium, FSMA, Assuralia, auditors…

Technical experience required (hard skills related to physical or digital tools) 

 

Mandatory 
  • Very good knowledge of various IT tools (Excel, Word, Visual Basic, SAS).
