Full-Stack Developer (Java – React) – Brussels

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer (Java – React) to join a multidisciplinary Agile squad responsible for delivering and maintaining innovative digital banking solutions for enterprise customers. The role involves end-to-end software development across both frontend and backend systems, contributing to web and mobile applications while supporting cloud-based services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-quality software, driving continuous improvement, and supporting DevOps practices within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and reliable applications.
• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Framework.
• Develop frontend applications using React.
• Integrate applications with external APIs and third-party services.
• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Apply software engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects.

DevOps & Operations

• Participate in operational support activities.
• Contribute to the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Support deployment automation and continuous delivery initiatives.
• Participate in API automation testing and quality assurance activities.

Agile Collaboration

• Work closely with product owners, analysts, testers, and other developers.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate across disciplines to achieve sprint and product goals.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members when appropriate.
• Challenge requirements constructively to improve business outcomes and technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant software development experience.
