Functional Analyst Bank/Insurance Senior Onshore – Belgium

For out client we are looking for Functional Analyst Bank/Insurance Senior

 

1. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

As a senior Functional Analyst with proven experience in bank and insurance, you have over 5 years of experience in managing the functional design of information systems : – You create the concept and manage the planning for preliminary analysis and design phase; – You perform the functional analysis of information systems and draw up the functional design after the prestudy; – You support changes and enhancements from development through production; – You recommend and implement system enhancements; – You develop new program requirements and specifications to support specific customer needs; – You support system upgrades and resolve problems with current systems; – You analyse service requests to determine feasibility, technological changes, resource requirements and project time estimates
 

2. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Next to a proven experience in bank and insurance, you have the following core competences : Agile Methodologies, Analytical thinking, Collaborating, Data driven, IT Security, Software development.

3. Specific Experience

Within the international Rainbow program, we are building a new data warehouse for our regulatory reporting to all possible regulators. The way in which we build this is guided by the requirements of the various group functions (Risk, Finance, Credit Risk, Treasury, Sustainability). The intention is to further refine these requirements based on what has already been built in our Rainbow data warehouse and then have them implemented.

Specifically, we are looking for an experienced colleague as part of the Finance business team, which translates existing (manual or local) processes for regulatory FINREP reporting into the central set-up of the new data warehouse. Some of them have already been implemented and are being tested, while others still need to be written about the requirements.
Knowledge in one of the above-mentioned business areas, more specifically in the field of regulatory reporting (Risk, Credit risk, Finance, Treasury, Sustainability), ideally in FINREP

In order to be able to test properly, data analytical skills (in SQL) are required.

Knowledge/experience in the following items are assets:
Wolters Kluwer reporting
Teradata datawarehouse
IBM Cognos Controller

We work in international teams, so good/fluent communication in English is a must.
