For an EU agency in Brussels, we are looking for Information Systems Architect (ISA) x2 – Brussels
1. Nature of the main tasks
- Architecture and design of information systems
- Review of the architecture of existing systems
- Design and development of component architecture and building blocks
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems
- Data analysis and data modelling
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
- Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
- Production of software architecture documents
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
- Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting
- Design, modify and test technical architecture
- Build and integrate information systems to meet the organisation needs
- Provide supervision and guidance to development teams
- Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed
- Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented
- Assess the business impact that certain technical choices may have
- Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets

4. Important notes
Language Skills: English at C1 level minimum.

The interviews are face to face in Brussels, on the client’s offices.
5. Service Delivery
The client requires the consultants to go onsite 2 days a week (it might change in the future to 3 days a week). Please note that remote work from abroad is not permitted. All consultants need to live/relocate to Belgium.
