For our client in Warsaw Poland we are looking for –
IT Project Manager REMOTE
• Education: A minimum education at Level 7 is required, with an ICT-relevant degree being mandatory.
• Experience:
o Minimum of 8 years of IT-relevant professional experience.
o Minimum of 5 years of project experience relevant to the profile or a similar position.
o Experience leading at least one medium-large ICT project as a project manager.
o Minimum of 8 years of IT-relevant professional experience.
o Minimum of 5 years of project experience relevant to the profile or a similar position.
o Experience leading at least one medium-large ICT project as a project manager.
• Language Skills: Minimum English language skills at Level C1 (CEFR).
• Certifications: At least one of the following certifications is required:
o PRINCE2 Practitioner
o Project Management Professional (PMP)
o PM2 Essential
o PM2 Advanced
o An internationally recognized equivalent certification, subject to acceptance by the Contracting Authority.
Knowledge and Skills
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following areas:
• Applying project management methodologies and methods.
• Applying Agile methodologies.
• Thorough understanding of IT and its application to business needs, with particular attention to cloud technologies, networking and data transmission technologies, and service-oriented architecture and application delivery.
• Knowledge of current technologies and trends relevant to the project and specific contracts.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality written material and presentations for various audiences.
• The ability to align work to a changing environment and work effectively in a variety of situations.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership.
• The ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers, and suppliers.
• Experience in the public sector, preferably with international organizations or EU Institutions.
• Knowledge and experience in Data Privacy, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Business Continuity, and Information Security Risk Assessment within the context of EU Institutions.
• Excellent conflict management and resolution skills.
Typical Tasks and Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for the following:
• Effectively and efficiently managing the project throughout its lifecycle.
• Establishing and managing project controls to ensure milestones are met and deliverables are on time and within scope.
• Assuring and controlling the quality of project deliverables.
• Identifying, tracking, and communicating project-related issues, scope changes, and contingencies.
• Liaising with the Project Board and other key stakeholders.
• Assigning and controlling tasks, authorizing work packages, and balancing priorities within the team.
• Planning and controlling project product delivery processes.
• Managing effective communication both within and outside the project.
• Producing project management products such as plans, logs, and schedules.
• Preparing and presenting oral and written technical reports.
• Organizing and conducting project meetings.
