Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Model and document business processes, roles, capabilities, data flows, and value streams.
- Elicit and analyse business needs, requirements and user stories.
- Maintain and track requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
- Translate business, user, and technical needs into clear business requirements.
Solution Design & Support
- Map business goals, benefits, system components and features.
- Analyse existing systems and support identification of solution options.
- Support preparation of business cases and feasibility studies.
- Contribute to system design, testing, quality assurance, and change management activities.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Design, validate, and test business processes for operational excellence.
- Take a holistic approach to improving business processes and organisational readiness.
- Coach end users and staff on process updates and upcoming changes.
- Identify opportunities for simplifying processes, increasing efficiency, or improving service quality.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with product owners, business experts, architects, and development teams.
- Communicate requirements, scope, and project objectives to stakeholders.
- Support development of strategic and tactical plans and transition roadmaps.
Data‑Driven Analysis
- Conduct cost‑benefit, what‑if and impact analyses.
- Support performance monitoring through KPIs and process metrics.
Professional Experience
- 8+ years of IT‑relevant professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- At least one full lifecycle of a software solution completed.
Professional Certifications
Candidate must hold at least two of the following:
- CBAP or equivalent
- UML Professional (foundation) or BPMN2 fundamental level
- Or other internationally recognized BA certifications
Core Skills
- Strong knowledge of BPMN for process modelling
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation and user story creation
- Familiarity with UML diagrams (activity, state, data model, capability diagrams, etc.)
- Proficiency with modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect, or similar
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to produce and maintain high‑quality documentation
- Solid problem‑solving mindset
Specific Required Experience
- Expertise with SharePoint and SharePoint‑based platforms
- Ability to gather, analyse, and prioritise business needs effectively
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt across technologies and platforms
