1. Description:
As a senior Technical Designer, you have over 5 years of experience in managing the technical design of information systems :
– You create the concept and manage the planning for the technical design, development and implementation phases;
– You coordinate the programming activities and ensure both the quantity and quality of the work provided by the programmers;
– You align with the Functional Analyst, the Application Manager, the (end) user and the test adviser;
– If necessary, you draw up the technical design and the test design for the functional and end to end tests;
– You have specific focus on design and use of framework (components), integration with other applications or application security.
– Proven experience in software development
Next to a proven experience in software development, you have the following core competences :

2. Technical Expert Power center
This vacancy is situated on the ART Credit Risk in the domain of client and credit risk calculations. The BASEL team is responsible for the development and maintenance of applications used in the credit and regulatory reporting processes (AnaCredits, Credits ICM, CRIMS, ESG and Loan Data Tape Generator).
The BASEL team is a group of committed and enthusiastic employees who give the best of themselves every day to maintain and implement new functionalities on the existing risk reporting processes. We work in a well-integrated Business & IT team in an international context with part of the development team at offshore.

3. What team will you work in?
You will work in a Business & IT team in an international context, responsible for – among others – design, maintenance and support of the Data flows to deliver the data that is needed for on-site inspections of ECB.
We work in a SAFe mode. In short iterations (sprints) software is delivered giving us an improved time to market. We develop, evaluate and steer where necessary during these short cycles. Each time in consultation with our business.
