For our client EC we are looking for a Technical Designer/ Tech Lead
1. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
IT Employee benefits department is looking for an experienced Technical designer to deliver application design in the context of a large modernization program.
We are rewriting several of our legacy applications into a modern technology stack. Together with the internal project team and our external partners we are capturing the existing application capabilities and are redesigning and implementing them in the target environment.

Objective of the job
– Coach the offshore design and development team to design the software application. Making sure they understand the business context as well as the design choices made. You do this by cocreating or reviewing the design deliverables.
– You will be responsible for executing code reviews to guarantee the quality of the delivered software, both from a technical as a design perspective.
– Support and collaborate with the offshore development team for successful implementation of the system, this includes code review, peer programming, explaining design patterns,…
– Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to propose a suitable design for the new software system.
– Design and develop specific features of the system.
– You will participate or support the testing team (in both system testing and user acceptance testing)
