For our client a Financial Institution we are looking for a Test Manager/Test Coordinator
1. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Manager with ISTQB certification to oversee our testing activities and ensure the quality and reliability of our Life Applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applications testing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for quality.

• Proven experience as a Test Manager or similar role

• Strong knowledge of applications testing methodologies and tools.
• ISTQB certification (Foundation level or higher).
• Waterfall, Agile, … methodologies.
• Automated testing tools and frameworks.
Functional experience required (job experience in particular industry and in particular function)
Mandatory
• Able to acquire rapidly sufficient knowledge of the existing Life Applications in order to collaborate with and challenge the Applications Experts (Testers, IT, Business analysts)
• Up to date with the latest testing tools, technologies and methodologies
Objective of the job
-
- Prepare and organize the System Testing and User Acceptance Testing in order to deliver Applications Projects (new or update of products & processes) with a high level of quality.
- Manage the tests activities for each project: planning, analysis, design, implementation, execution, completion, monitoring & control.
- Lead and manage the testing team composed of application experts, providing guidance and support.
- Coordinate with Project Leads and development teams to ensure timely and effective testing. Use the follow up and reporting tools at disposal.
- Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and overall quality metrics.
- Define the relevant criteria to decide on Go/No Go with the different stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage risk mitigation strategies.
- Take measures to anticipate blocking situations and increase the project quality.
