• Defining test plans and approaches • Setup suitable test coverage requirements Managing and prioritization of defects and test activities • Re-planning and co-ordination of testing activities • Developing a test strategy and plan including required resourcing estimation • Developing high-level test cases • Reporting on testing progress/coverage and defect trends • Interact with various stakeholders or vendors to define suitable acceptance criteria • Obtaining sign-off on the testing phase • Assessing the progress and effectiveness of the test effort • Conducting other testing activities associated with other profiles if time allows
2. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Good knowledge of testing standards (e.g. ISTQB) • Good knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies and best practices • Good knowledge of testing methodologies and tools • Good experience with quality procedures • Good knowledge of software development lifecycle • Aptitudes in reporting • Ability to apply and promote high quality standards • Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments • Capable to communicate effectively with different actors involved (testers, developers, management etc.) • Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team • Good communication skills

The key missions of a test manager are :
To evaluate the testing effort and the planning of a project
To put in place tests strategies
To take part to test scenarios redaction and execution in collaboration with analysts of
the different domains
To organise Monitoring & Reporting in collaboration with IT projects managers and the
business
Identify tests to add to the regression patrimonium
To manage the other type of test such as :
– Regression tests
– Non-functional tests :
o Performance tests
o Security tests
o Portability tests
o …..
